I have a long history with Ashland. Growing up in Portland, my parents established a family tradition of a trip to Ashland every year beginning in 1969. Through the years, I have seen many amazing plays and experienced much of the natural splendor of the area. Our September trip always signaled the end of summer and one last blast of sun and warmth before the long Portland winters. Graduating college in 1986 with a degree in IT and Entrepreneurship, I was fortunate to begin working at a small software start-up in Hillsboro. This company grew and went public in 1996. By 2000, I was VP of Operations for a this multi-national company.

During our trip that year, my father took me to visit a property that was for sale in Ashland, the Waterside Inn. I knew my time in high-tech was nearing an end; with my parents we decided to purchase the hotel and begin a major remodel. In 2001 we opened our first new suite, Marrakech. In 2006, we added 3 more suites. I still enjoy each morning with our guests; lots of good coffee, great food and friends. I would love to welcome you to the Ashland Creek Inn.
